Trash Pickup - A Pelican Pointe homeowner reports that the City will provide you with a biweekly
notice of "recycling pick-up day" -- by an e-mail to you on the previous day. I suggest you make your request for such notices by calling 311. Or, consult the web site at www.DenverGov.org/ DenverRecycles.

Where can I find ... ?

Where is there a Post Office nearby?

Our regular post office is near Hampden and Yosemite, (Sullivan Station, 303-221-5209, 8700 E Jefferson Ave, Denver, CO 80237), but there are several other stations close by.
There is the sub Station located inside the Windsor Gardens Pharmacy on Alameda east of Pelican Pointe and there is Montclair Station, 303-333-2195, 8275 E 11th Ave, Denver, CO 80220 (north of Lowry on 11th Ave)

Why doesn't ... ?

Why doesn't the snow get shoveled after every storm?

Snow removal is very expensive.  The snow removal contractor will shovel the walks and plow streets when there are two inches or more of snow.  Ice melt buckets can been provided for those entrances facing the North sides.

What is ... ?

What are the hours of the entrance gate?  

Currently they are open from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM 

What is the "common area"?

"Common Area" to a Homeowner's Association, and particularly our association, is anything outside of your Town home.  What this means is that the Homeowners' Association is responsible for the maintenance and repair of anything outside of your walls.  You have limited use of the common areas.

When is ... ?

When are the Board of Director meetings held?

Currently, the Board of Directors meets the Third Monday of every month at 7:00 PM at the Lighthouse ClubHouse.

When is the trash picked up?

Every Wednesday. 

 

PLEASE REMEMBER: When the trash day falls on or after a holiday, your service will be delayed by one day the remainder of that week. Monday service will be on Tuesday, etc. with Friday service on Saturday
