Social Report  5/16/11

1.  TGIF Pizza Party on Friday, June 17, 2011, starting at 6:00.  What could be better than concluding your week with a TGIF at our Pointe Park?  We will be serving pizza, snacks, beer, wine and lemonade from 6:00-8:00 p.m. This annual event is always loads of fun, fellowship and lady-ship.  This is free to residents and absentee homeowners.  These get-togethers provide a great opportunity to meet your neighbors, corner our manager, or just enjoy someone else's cooking for a change. All you need to bring is our own lawn chair.

2.  Lunch Bunch will meet at Sweet Ginger Asian Bistro & Sushi on Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at 11:30. This restaurant located at 2710 East 3rd Avenue offers a large menu which includes Asian and Thai food.  Join in Pelican Pointe conversations and enjoy the friendship of your neighbors.  All ages and both sexes are invited.  Please RSVP to Susan Million at 303-316-7190.

3.  Pelican Pointe Book Club will meet on Friday, June 10, at 6:30 at the home of Sue Penn in FF-104. We will be discussing "Born to Run" by Christopher McDougall.  This non-fiction book is full of incredible characters, amazing athletic achievements, cutting-edge science and most of pure inspriation.  Please RSVP to Sue at 303-399-1022.
